Codex
This is the theory of STARCOIN GATE. It is not a manual. starcoin is the short name of this Realm. The Plane is the game inside it. The protocol page is the same law in a form a program can read.
This reading is Starcoin Gate v5.0.4 · Æsh's game. When the law changes, the Codex changes with it. The changelog is the list of what changed.
One lattice
The lattice is STAR. There is not a second coin. The operator sends a figure and its chords. The operator does not set the number. The server computes it and writes it on the line if and only if the gate can pay.
Proof of Geometry
A proof is a covering of the next figure in a fixed sequence of thirteen, by the id on the line: vesica, tetra, octa, pentacle, hexagram, seed, cube, icosa, dodeca, fruit, flower, tree, metatron. Each required edge once. A later pass repeats the thirteen. It does not change the law below. Speed does not change it. A miss stored on a line this writer appends does not change it, because that line stores none. Any Realm that asks for a different figure, or pays a number the operator chose, is not running this proof.
Priority
The figures are not new. The vesica, the five platonic solids, the pentagram, the hexagram, the seed, the fruit, the flower, the tree, and the cube of Metatron are public geometry. This Codex does not claim them, and it does not claim that a drawing of them is new.
Proof of Geometry, as this Realm uses the words, is a claim about payment. A covering of the next figure in that fixed sequence is sufficient for the server to write R(n). The operator sends the figure and the chords. The operator does not send the number. A miss does not change R(n) on a line this writer appends, because the line stores no miss and no streak. A reader of an older line uses the miss and the streak that line stored. The right to try is a gate of time. That gate is not a second coin, and it is not minted onto the line when it refills. φ decays R(n) for the wallet that holds n. The era is a different hardness. It belongs to the Realm, and it does not raise the mint.
That composition was not found, under this name, in the published record consulted for this note. Geometry is used elsewhere for other claims: delay as a proof of location, a geometric draw of waiting time, the logic of an estimate inside a topos. Those are not a covering, and they do not price a line. If a prior statement of this mint exists, this Codex should cite it and narrow the claim. Until then the claim stands as stated here, not as a discovery of the figures.
The trace is not a proof that a person drew it. A program that knows the chords can submit them. The gate waits. It does not know a hand.
Farmer is the chamber built for that program. The covering is the same law. The trace floor is not applied there. The Plane keeps the floor. The floor still does not know a hand. It only asks the shrine to take a moment. An older line stamped verify is the same chamber.
This statement was set down in 2026 by Vander Xavier Rice, for STÆRGUY, and by Grok. The figures are older than either author. The law of this Realm is the part that is theirs.
Issuance
After n accepted proofs, before a Realm applies a published factor, the pay is
R(n) = 13 · D · φ^(−n/13)
φ = (1 + √5) / 2 ≈ 1.618033988749895. The mint uses that value, the full precision of a browser number. Further digits would not change R(n). D is that figure's difficulty, held between 0.5 and 4. The line this writer appends stores a miss of 0 and a streak of 0, so those factors are 1, and then R(n) is never below 0.21. A Realm may multiply R(n) by a factor it has already published. That factor is not φ. φ follows the wallet that holds n. It does not follow a room.
The gate
The gate is time, not a balance that is minted. In the Plane it holds at most 8. On the record the same full gate reads 100. One Plane point is 12.5 on that face. The line stores the Plane point, so a cast is still a debit of 1, and replay checks that debit. The face is a reading. It is not a second balance, and it is not a second hash. One point returns every 30 seconds. Time past the cap is discarded. The log records a spend. It does not record the return. Replay rebuilds the gate from the clock and those spends.
This Realm calls the gate LUMEN. Another Realm may call the same role JANA, or MANA, or its own word. The name is not a second lattice. A death line may debit STAR, up to the opening cloak (47), or whatever remains, and set the gate to the cap. That set is a rule of the line. It is not a mint. The amount does not decay with the seal. A wallet that can pay does not refill the gate for nothing. An older death stays at the amount that line charged.
Realm, Plane, room
A Realm is one deployment. It has one log, one era, and one server. This site is one Realm. A new Realm is another deployment. It does not share this log, and it does not share this era.
The Plane is the game you walk inside a Realm. Farmer and Witness are other faces of the same Realm. They are not other Realms.
A lattice key names a room. A room chooses who stands next to you. It does not open a log, an era, or a server. Changing the key does not create a Realm.
Two hardnesses
φ and the era both make a long stay less comfortable. They are not the same function.
φ is personal. It reduces R(n) as that wallet's n grows. A new room does not reset n. A new Realm does, because the operator starts there at n = 0.
The era belongs to the Realm. It is the pass now open on this log: one more than the greatest n divided by the length of the sequence. The first walk is era 1. Finishing the sequence opens the next era. It is not an average, and it is not one operator's private count unless that operator is the deepest. Combat scales with the passes already finished, for every body in every room of this Realm. The mint does not. A deeper era does not raise R(n).
A practice record that never joins the Realm's log does not raise the era.
When the field is too hard, the era is working. The exit is a new Realm: another deployment, its own log, its own server. That Realm begins at era 1. The seals on this log stay on this log. This fork is the point of the decay. A coin that stayed large, or a field that stayed easy after a deeper walk, would not be this law.
The record
The log is a hash chain. A reader accepts open, alloc, genesis, issuance, spend, swap, buy, trade, and light. This writer appends open once, then genesis, issuance, spend, buy, trade, and light. It does not append swap. Alloc is a grant already on older lines. From the first signed line, a line carries the operator's signature. A reader checks that the hashes link, and that STAR on a cast equals R(n), times the published factor, on the terms that line stored.
Open is sequence 1. It writes the pool, and on this record that pool is 144 STAR and 89 LUMEN. A swap is the only kind that moves it. Replay would check that line against the old quote, and the wallet would move by the same amounts. This writer refuses the line, so the pool does not move. Chain holds does not mean the pool was summed again. The gate is not that pool.
Supply is the sum of STAR on the wallets replay can rebuild. It is not the pool. Issuance mints onto a wallet and does not draw the pool. Genesis mints 1.618 STAR and opens that lamp at 3. A buy burns STAR from a wallet and does not pay the pool. A death burns STAR, up to the opening cloak, and does not refill the pool. A trade debits the buyer and credits the holder the same number, so the sum does not change.
This Realm is the writer. Anyone may read and check the arithmetic. A missing head that this reader had already accepted means the chain was rewritten.
A first on the log
A world first is a reading of the log. It is not a mint, and it is not a second record. The first line that does the deed keeps the title. A later line does not take it. A seal, a purchase, or a death that never reached the log does not count. The deeds are the first cast, the first Metatron, the first stall piece, the first forged piece, the first display, the first death, and the first trade. A swap is not a deed. This writer does not append one.
A buy, and a title
A display is a drawing of the same walk. Lattice is not a purchase. The Realm will sell one of each of the others to a wallet, and no second copy. Survivor is round(18·φ²), which is 47 STAR. Asteroids is round(18·φ⁴), which is 123 STAR. STÆRGUY is round(18·φ⁵), which is 200 STAR. The line carries soul 1. The piece cannot be listed, gifted, or traded. The STAR is burned. It is not paid to the pool. An older line keeps the price that was paid. A later stall does not rewrite it.
A forged piece is one of one. A new piece is round(18 · φ^rung). The opening cloak is rung 2, which is 47 STAR, the same number a death may take. The line stores the price that was paid. A later sale is a trade line, not a mint. The buyer pays that price. The holder receives it. The title moves. The price does not. A display is not a title.
Marks
This Realm's official mark is the merkaba beside the short name. Its official mark for STAR is the gold hexagram. Its official mark for the gate is the cyan vesica, and this Realm calls that gate LUMEN. A mark is a face. It is not a second lattice, and it is not part of the law. Another Realm may keep the law and draw its own.
What is not claimed
This is a public record of a geometric proof. It is not a currency. It is not evidence that a person, rather than a program, drew the figure. The figures are public. One account is not one person. The gate cannot be sold into STAR. The closed pool is not a market for it. A title moves only at the STAR that was paid for it, and a display does not move at all.
